RL Roofing was started in 1985 by Richard Leslie, Sr. who is a third-generation roofer. While some small jobs can be tackled by DIY homeowners, major work or a roof replacement is a pretty complex process that requires training and thus should be left to a professional roofing company. Professional contractors go through training and certification by the manufacturer of the materials in order to obtain an extended manufacturer warranty. The manufacturer won’t offer, or void, the warranty if the roof is repaired by a person who is not trained by the manufacturer.

If the wood beneath your shingles shows signs of water damage, it will need to be replaced, as well. Our professional estimators will do a thorough inspection of the roof at the time of your quote, but it is possible that damaged wood will be visible only after the existing shingles are removed by our roofing company.
